With over 18 years of consulting and management experience, Matt has led dozens of transaction, diligence and planning efforts for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, served as interim CIO, and managed IT and Operational performance improvement initiatives for portfolio companies with a focus on IT enablement of business operations.
Matt has performed Pre-Transaction Diligence and Synergy Planning as well as led IT and operational improvement projects for private equity interests in the US, Asia and South America. His deliverables have included OpEx and CapEx modeling, Performance Improvement, infrastructure build-out and consolidation, core platform / ERP systems planning, implementation and integration.
Prior to joining LM+Co as CIO Advisory Services leader and member of the Private Equity Value Creation practice, Matt spent eight years with Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) where he performed IT and Operational diligence and First 100-Day planning and execution for mergers and acquisitions. Matt has held interim CIO roles for several post-close Carve-Out and Merger Integration initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Matt spent eight years as a systems integration and technology specialist with AT&T and specializing in IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity with EMC / BusinessEdge.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Virginia.
