Rod has more than 20 years combined investment banking, credit research, accounting and finance experience. He is a member of LM+Co Capital, our independently-operated corporate finance practice, focusing on Mergers + Acquisitions, Capital Advisory, Financial Restructuring and Business Valuation Services. Rod has executed engagements for middle market companies across a wide range of industries such as business services, consumer products, distribution, financial institutions, food processing and internet services. He has represented clients in multiple transactions with over $5 billion of deal value and/or financing proceeds.
Previously, Rod was a Director and Credit Analyst at Standard & Poor’s Rating Services. During his tenure, he covered both investment and speculative grade credits in the consumer products as well as chemicals industries. He has held various consulting positions working on corporate development, financial analysis and serving in interim CFO roles. Rod was also a vice president in the investment banking group at Bear, Stearns & Co, covering financial institutions. His experience includes mergers + acquisitions advisory as well as debt and equity capital raising for both public and private companies. He has gained experience in transaction execution, including valuation, restructuring and strategic analyses. Prior to Bear Stearns, Rod was an audit manager at Ernst & Young in the Entrepreneurial Services Group covering a diversified client base in industries such as consumer, financial services, industrials and media. As an auditor, Rod developed his skill for analyzing and deciphering financial statements to determine an accurate view of the financial position and cash flow potential of a company.
Rod earned his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University and Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University. Rod is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), registered in the State of New York and also earned Series 7. 24, 63, 65 and 79 licenses.
